Today's PodCast is the live interview with Gene Weed at his iFXFilms Studio located in Cottonwood, Arizona. The interview was conducted on April 27th during my visit there.
We discussed using the proper kinds of audio equipment in making podcasts sound more professional using the proper kind of microphone, the understanding of the recording media, and the use of post-production digital filters.
We created a sample file to demonstrate some of the post-production filters on an audio file. The samples clearly show for example, how the sound can be enhanced without the need to increase the loudness using the Compressor filter.
Both Gene and I are interested in receiving feedback from the listeners. We want to know if there's interest among you to create a short lesson series of using post-production audio tools to make your podcasts sound more like radio quality broadcasts to improve your listener's experience. Feel free to email Gene Weed directly, if you have specific technical questions regarding post-audio production.
Duration of this PodCast is 27 minutes and 18 seconds with a size of 3.1 MB.
